A harrowing accident occurred on Tuesday when a Himachal Roadways bus, traversing the remote Kwanu-Meenus Road in Uttarakhand's Dehradun district, veered off its path and plunged into a deep gorge, according to the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF).
Upon receiving the alarming report, SDRF Commandant Arpan Yaduvanshi swiftly directed emergency rescue teams from Dakpathar, Chakrata, Mori, and Tyuni to the incident scene. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami immediately engaged with the District Magistrate to streamline rescue operations, ensuring that all necessary instructions were executed to save the trapped passengers.
