Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has emphasized significant improvements in the state's health services, stating that continuous efforts are ensuring better health outcomes for citizens. A comprehensive expansion of health infrastructure is underway, providing quality and accessible medical facilities to the general public, according to an official release.

Notable advancements include progress in maternal and child health statistics, with the Maternal Mortality Rate dropping from 173 to 142, and the Infant Mortality Rate decreasing from 41 to 37. Schemes like the Janani Suraksha Yojana and Chief Minister's Maternity Assistance Scheme have provided financial aid to numerous beneficiaries, reflecting improved neonatal and maternal care.

In public health initiatives, Madhya Pradesh is a top performer in the national Tuberculosis Elimination Programme. The state has developed comprehensive treatment facilities under the Sickle Cell Mission and issued 4.43 crore Ayushman Bharat health cards, offering financial security for millions. The establishment of new medical colleges and expanded educational seats highlights commitment to enhancing medical education.
