In a swift response to an alleged attack near Saket District Court in Delhi, the police have apprehended four juveniles accused of physically assaulting a woman from Manipur. The incident unfolded on Sunday evening as a group reportedly harassed the victim and her friends, all hailing from Northeast India.

Tensions escalated when one of the women objected to the indecent remarks, leading to a physical assault. The injured woman received immediate medical attention at Safdarjung Hospital, where she was diagnosed with minor injuries and is expected to recover soon.

Meghalaya's Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma condemned the attack, describing it as an act of racial bullying. He criticized the frequent targeting of Northeastern individuals in mainland India, urging strict legal actions. In response, the Delhi Police registered a criminal case and assured prompt action against the culprits through their social media post.
