Amid rising concerns over LPG supply in Bihar, long queues were reported outside gas agency offices across multiple districts on Thursday. Despite these concerns, the administration insists there is no shortage of cooking fuel, with Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary emphasizing that both central and state governments are working to ensure a seamless supply of LPG cylinders while curbing black marketing.

Patna District Magistrate Thiyagarajan SM stressed the proactive measures being taken by the administration to avoid inconveniences to domestic LPG consumers. Authorities are keenly enforcing regulations, with instructions issued to register FIRs and arrest any individuals or agencies involved in black marketing or price hikes. An FIR has already been filed against a delivery boy following a consumer complaint.

The district administration reassures that all LPG distributors and gas companies maintain adequate supplies. Officials across Bihar, including Sheohar DM Pratibha Rani and Muzaffarpur DM Subrat Kumar Sen, confirm regular supplies and buffer stocks, urging citizens not to panic. Measures are in place to address public grievances, and a helpline has been set up for seamless distribution monitoring.
