Amid recent disruptions impacting its oil shipments, Iraq is also actively pursuing the resumption of exports through the Kirkuk-Ceyhan pipeline to Turkey.

This move aims to counterbalance the interruptions caused by recent tanker attacks during transfers off the Iraqi coast.
