Iraq's oil minister announced ongoing negotiations with Iran to facilitate the passage of oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz, according to state news reports on Tuesday.
Amid recent disruptions impacting its oil shipments, Iraq is also actively pursuing the resumption of exports through the Kirkuk-Ceyhan pipeline to Turkey.
This move aims to counterbalance the interruptions caused by recent tanker attacks during transfers off the Iraqi coast.
