During the CII Himachal Pradesh Annual Conference titled "Building a Future-Ready Himachal Pradesh for a Better Tomorrow: Harnessing Local Strengths for Global Competitiveness," Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu extended an invitation to industry leaders to invest in key sectors such as tourism, food processing, and information technology. The conference, held in Shimla, focused on the state's commitment to fostering green industries, aligning with its unique geographical conditions.

Chief Minister Sukhu announced a significant Rs. 3,000 crore investment in the tourism sector, highlighting the development of heliports at district headquarters and the expansion of Kangra airport. The state is also enhancing infrastructure to promote industrial growth, including a bulk drug park at Haroli and improved railway connectivity to Baddi.

In his closing remarks, Sukhu assured industry participants of swift resolutions to grievances, emphasizing the state's progressive single-window clearance system. The Himachal Pradesh government remains determined to advocate for its fair share of resources and financial assistance, striving towards a robust, self-reliant economy supported by local products and community resilience.
