Tractors and Farm Equipment Ltd (TAFE), a major player in the agricultural machinery sector, announced a significant 23% increase in tractor sales for the fiscal year 2025-26. The company achieved record sales, delivering 2,14,951 units, up from 1,74,785 units in the previous fiscal year.

This growth was attributed to favorable monsoons and government initiatives, such as the reduction in GST, which provided a substantial boost to the farming sector. The rise in mechanization among small farmers and first-time users marked a significant shift towards improved farm productivity and increased farmer income.

Despite challenges like geopolitical tensions impacting input costs, TAFE remains optimistic about the sector's resilience. Future growth prospects look promising, with expectations of continued mechanization adoption and recovery in export markets, positioning the company for sustained growth.
