Raghav Chadha Congratulates Harivansh on Rajya Sabha Re-election Amid Political Jabs

Raghav Chadha congratulated Harivansh on his re-election as Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman, taking the opportunity to subtly critique AAP leaders for their absence during house proceedings. Prime Minister Modi lauded Harivansh’s contributions and highlighted his connection to former PM, Chandra Shekhar, on his birth anniversary.

Aam Aadmi Party MP Raghav Chadha extended his congratulations to Harivansh Narayan Singh for being re-elected as Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha for a third term. The election was confirmed following a voice vote on Friday, moved by Union Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda.

In his address to the Rajya Sabha, Chadha acknowledged the support of Vice-President and Rajya Sabha Chairman, CP Radhakrishnan, for allowing ample debate time for Members of Parliament. Chadha humorously noted his cordial yet complex relationship with Harivansh.

Chadha used the platform to criticize the absence of AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Leader Ashok Kumar Mittal during the session. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, alongside party leaders, celebrated Harivansh's reappointment by honoring his dedication and ties with former Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar.
