Maharashtra's Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis marked the 300th birth anniversary of Ahilyabai Holkar by launching the 'Godavari to Narmada Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Water Journey 2026' in Nashik, underscoring efforts towards water conservation. The event aims to encourage citizens to prioritize responsible water usage.

Concurrently, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman commended the State Bank of India for setting up its Local Head Office in Pune. She highlighted its pivotal role in bolstering Maharashtra's banking services amidst global economic uncertainties.

In a series of developmental strides, CM Fadnavis, alongside deputy chief ministers, also unveiled the 'Thane-Borivali Double Decker Corridor Project'. The project boasts the country's longest and deepest urban tunnels, designed to ensure smooth traffic flow with state-of-the-art systems.
