In the latest edition of his monthly radio address, Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shone a spotlight on India's wildlife conservation achievements, notably the resurgence of blackbucks in Chhattisgarh. Modi noted that while their population had once dwindled, sustained conservation efforts have revived these creatures, symbolizing the restoration of India's natural heritage.
The Prime Minister also addressed ongoing conservation campaigns for the Great Indian Bustard, once on the brink of extinction. Emphasizing scientific methods and new breeding centers, Modi assured listeners of emerging success in revitalizing this hallmark of India's desert ecology, demonstrating the power of ecological preservation.
Diversifying his discourse, Modi celebrated India's recent achievements in the dairy sector, particularly at the Brazilian World Cheese Championship. Competing among over 30 countries, India secured a Super Gold, two Golds, and a Silver, marking a new chapter for the nation’s artisanal products. Modi hailed this recognition as a testament to India's rich culinary heritage and emerging global presence in the dairy industry.
