Delhi High Court Preserves Sunjay Kapur's Estate Amid Family Dispute

The Delhi High Court has issued an interim injunction to maintain the status quo on Sunjay Kapur's estate amid familial disputes. The court directed asset protection, account transparency, and suspended overseas accounts. Priya Kapur must address raised concerns as the trial progresses in the ₹30,000 crore estate case.

The Delhi High Court has upheld the interim injunction request by the children of Karisma Kapoor, ensuring the preservation of late Sunjay Kapur's estate by preventing the establishment of third-party claims on the assets. The court has mandated the submission of financial statements, while also freezing foreign bank accounts and cryptocurrency holdings.

In light of "suspicious circumstances" presented by the petitioners and Rani Kapur (Defendant 3), the court placed the responsibility on Priya Kapur (Defendant 1) to alleviate these concerns. The court asserted the need to safeguard the estate during what could be a protracted trial, ensuring the assets remain intact.
