In a statement resonating with caution, former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister and Congress stalwart Bhupesh Baghel has raised questions over the reliability of recent exit polls. Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Baghel suggested keeping a reserved judgment until the official results are revealed on May 4.
The exit polls, released on Wednesday, have forecasted a favorable outcome for the BJP-led NDA in Assam, while predicting a triumph for the Congress-led UDF in Kerala. Notably, BJP is also projected to form its inaugural government in West Bengal, as per most surveys.
The projections exhibit an intriguing scenario in Tamil Nadu's political landscape, with the DMK-led coalition expected to regain control. However, Axis My India anticipates a promising debut performance for actor-turned-politician Vijay's TVK, matching DMK's vote share. The exit polls for Puducherry display a potential comeback for the NR Congress-led alliance, keeping the political scene edgy ahead of the official outcome.
