Anish Gouraha Takes Charge as NHPC's Jammu & Kashmir Regional Head
Anish Gouraha, a seasoned NHPC executive with nearly 29 years of experience, has been appointed as the regional head of NHPC's operations in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. His leadership will focus on sustainable energy development and operational excellence in the region's power stations and projects.
Anish Gouraha has officially assumed the role of regional head for NHPC's operations in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, overseeing power stations and projects in these Union Territories. The appointment was confirmed by an official spokesperson.
Gouraha, an experienced executive with close to three decades in the field, took the helm at NHPC Limited's Jammu office and wasted no time in connecting with teams at Salal Power Station and the Sawalkote project. He emphasized the importance of achieving operational excellence and motivated staff to contribute to sustainable energy initiatives.
Graduating with a degree in electrical engineering from GEC Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, Gouraha also holds an MBA in human resources. His tenure at NHPC began in 1997 at the Salal Power Station, and he has since held numerous critical positions, including roles at the Tattapani geothermal project and the design division at the corporate office.
