Praana Group has officially completed the acquisition of Multi-Chem, which will now operate under the name Sterling MultiChem within the Sterling Specialty Chemicals platform. This strategic move is set to bolster Praana Group's presence in the specialty chemicals market and expand its capabilities within the energy sector.
The merger effectively combines Sterling Specialty Chemicals' prowess in specialty chemical manufacturing, polymer technologies, and surfactant systems with Multi-Chem's field service capabilities. This synergy is expected to enhance Praana's support for oil and gas operators across the upstream, midstream, and downstream operations with high-performance chemical solutions.
According to Vishal Goenka, Vice Chairman of Praana Group, this acquisition aligns with their long-term strategy to strengthen their global specialty chemicals platform.
