The Delhi High Court has approved bail for actor Leena Maria Paulose in a money laundering case while rejecting her bail plea under the MCOCA case. Both cases involve her husband, Sukesh Chandrasekhar.
Justice Prateek Jalan delivered the ruling following arguments from Leena Maria’s counsel and the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Advocates Anant Malik and John Paul Edison represented Paulose, and Zoheb Hossain and Vivek Gurnani appeared for the ED.
Delhi Police and ED opposed the bail plea, labeling Paulose a key figure in an organized crime syndicate. They argued Paulose was involved in financial crimes despite her claims of unawareness about her husband's alleged criminal activities.
