In a pressing call to action, DFS Secretary M Nagaraju has urged banks to bolster their cybersecurity measures and operational resilience, particularly in light of the possible release of advanced AI models such as Anthropic Mythos.
During his address at the IBA conference in Mumbai, Nagaraju highlighted the significant risks these AI models pose, given their capacity to identify and potentially exploit vulnerabilities in banking systems.
He further emphasized the importance of continuous resilience testing and strategic risk management to safeguard the financial sector against cyber threats, geopolitical developments, and other emerging risks.
