During the session at Delhi Secretariat, attended by Labour Department officials, Mishra reviewed advisories on fuel conservation and public transport usage. He highlighted the necessity of reducing petrol and diesel consumption, drawing inspiration from appeals made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi amidst shifting global scenarios.
Mishra appealed to large private enterprises, including IT firms, to champion remote work schedules, reflecting Delhi Government's commitment to cut petrol and diesel usage by 20%. The campaign advocates staggered office timings, carpooling, virtual meetings, and minimized travel, fostering voluntary contributions to national interests.
