Authorities in Pimpri-Chinchwad, Maharashtra, are on high alert following a late-night shooting outside a local store. According to police reports, two unidentified individuals on a motorbike fired several rounds at the site on Friday night at around 9:20 PM.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Ganesh Ingle stated that the local Crime Branch and police swiftly responded to the incident. Initial investigations have been intensified due to a viral social media post reportedly from Shubham Lonkar of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, claiming responsibility for the attack.
Ingle emphasized the seriousness of the situation, noting that multiple police teams have been dispatched to track down the culprits. The police are employing scientific methods to closely monitor the situation and ensure swift apprehension of those involved in the shooting.
