Coffeehouse chain abcoffee has raised Rs 61 crore in a funding round led by Kliff Ventures to accelerate its expansion across existing and new markets.
Coffeehouse chain abcoffee has raised Rs 61 crore in a funding round led by Kliff Ventures, the company said on Monday.
The round also saw participation from Hero Enterprise Partner Ventures, Merisis Venture Fund and Stride Ventures.
''abcoffee has raised Rs 61 crore in its Pre-Series B funding round led by Kliff Ventures, the newly launched consumer retail fund created by K Hospitality Corp,'' the statement said.
Founded in 2022, abcoffee has over 90 coffee outlets across Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, and Bengaluru that offer pick-and-go facility for coffee.
The fresh capital will be used to accelerate abcoffee's disciplined, cluster-led expansion across existing and new markets, as per the statement.
The brand will continue to deepen its presence across Mumbai, NCR, and Bengaluru, while expanding into high-density office, residential and transit-led micro-markets where high-quality coffee remains underserved, the statement said.
''We have 97 stores as of now operating between Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore. Mumbai, we have the largest network of 52 stores. From here, we seem to be doubling down. The idea is to double down on our already product market fit that we have achieved in these markets. So we'll be focusing on existing markets that we are. Densify the locations and in the next 1-2 years take it to another 200 stores,'' abcoffee Founder and CEO Abhijeet Anand said.
A significant portion of the capital will also be deployed towards technology, customer engagement, subscriptions, backend infrastructure, supply chain strengthening, product innovation, and operational excellence, he said.
abcoffee said it doubled revenue in FY26 with cashflow increasing 193.2 per cent on a year-on-year basis.
''We believe abcoffee has the potential to emerge as the leading brand in India's rapidly growing coffee category. Through Kliff Ventures, we look to partner with ambitious founders building scalable and enduring consumer retail brands, and we are excited to join abcoffee in the journey ahead. Hospitality Corp and Kliff Ventures, Executive Director,'' Karan Kapur said.
