A tragic gas leak on Monday at a machine tool factory in Ludhiana led to the death of three individuals, authorities confirmed. Ludhiana DCP Harpal Singh reported the incident occurred around 2:30 am, resulting in two others being hospitalized as the investigation continues.

Meanwhile, a devastating fire ravaged Amritsar's Rambagh market on May 28, leaving one person dead and causing significant property damage. Responding swiftly, multiple fire tenders were dispatched to douse the flames in this bustling area, known for its bamboo vendors.

Police suspect a short circuit as the fire's cause. Assistant Commissioner Ravinder Singh confirmed the casualty, while local AAP MLA Ajay Gupta called the incident 'unfortunate and bizarre.' Gupta assured that the state government would provide compensation to those impacted.
