This legal development follows the registration of an FIR under the Arms Act against Khan following the June 2 incident where gunfire wounded a security guard.

The case attracted significant attention when video footage surfaced, allegedly depicting guards from the institution engaging in aerial firing. This prompted the police to name Khan and two others in the FIR. Despite the serious nature of the claims, the court provided Khan with interim relief, suspending any immediate arrest.
