Andhra Pradesh's Minister for Information Technology, Electronics, and Communication, Nara Lokesh, visited the grief-stricken families of workers who lost their lives in a catastrophic accident at the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant.

The tragic incident, which took place at the Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited facility, resulted in the deaths of eight laborers and left six critically injured. Lokesh along with Union Minister of State for Steel Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma, State Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha, and other leaders paid their respects at King George Hospital in Visakhapatnam, consoling the bereaved families.

Promising unwavering governmental support, Lokesh expressed condolences and pledged that all necessary aid would reach the affected families. He emphasized that a thorough investigation is underway to address safety standards and accountability, assuring stringent actions against those accountable once the official report is released.
