Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Member of Parliament Jyotirmay Singh Mahato has launched a scathing critique against Trinamool Congress leader Abhishek Banerjee amid deepening investigations into a signature forgery case.
According to Mahato, the Central and state investigation agencies, including the CID, CBI, and ED, are executing their duties in probing alleged criminal activities linked to Banerjee.
On Thursday, Banerjee underwent approximately 5.5 hours of questioning by the CID related to the case, rooted in a complaint of forgery in assembly documentation concerning appointments of opposition legislative roles.
