India downplays Al-Qaeda's warning to army in recent video on Kashmir

Raveesh Kumar, spokesperson of India's Ministry of External Affairs has downplayed recent warning of Al-Qaeda Chief Ayman al Zawahiri saying "Aisi dhamkiyaan jo hai na hum sunte rehte hain, mujhe nahi lagta inko seriously lena chahiye" (We are used to these threats, I don't think this should be taken seriously).

He also reiterated confidence in security forces to deal with any untoward situation.
In its first video on Kashmir, Al-Qaeda chief, Zawahari, who took over the top post of Al Qaeda after the death of Osama bin Laden, said, "I am of the view that the Mujahideen (armed terrorists) in Kashmir- at this stage at least- should focus with single mind on inflicting unrelenting blows on the Indian Army and government so as to bleed the Indian economy and make India suffer sustained losses in manpower and equipment."
