Air Canada says 35 passengers suffered minor injuries during severe turbulence that forced an emergency landing in Honolulu. According to CTV News, The plane was on his way from Vancouver to Sydney and encountered the turbulence as it was flying just west of Hawaii on Thursday morning.

An Air Canada spokesperson told that about 35 passengers sustained minor injuries. Air Canada's Boeing 777 had 269 passengers and 15 crew members onboard at the time when turbulence occurred.
