Tunceli blast: Thousands mourn death of 2 children after PKK attack in Turkey

An improvised explosive device (IED) purportedly planted by PKK terrorists exploded in the eastern Turkish province of Tunceli on Monday. The blast claimed lives of 2 children, an 8-year old boy and his 4-year old sister. The incident has sent shockwaves across the country and thousands have taken to Twitter to mourn the death of those children.
8-year old Ayaz Güloğlu and his younger sister Bahar Güloğlu were killed in the blast. Ayaz died on the scene while Bahar succumbed to injuries.

PKK has been involved in various terror attacks in Turkey over the years, the group is also listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the US and the EU.
