Fire breaks out at Premier Inn hotel in Bristol

A huge fire has broken at Premier Inn hotel near Cribbs Causeway in Bristol, according to media reports. The fire has reportedly broken out in a laundry room on the third floor and is being attended by more than 40 firefighters. The cause of the fire is not known.

Police have also reached the scene and are warning bystanders they "expect the roof is going to collapse". Residents near the area are being warned to close doors and windows due to the huge amount of smoke in the area. The roads have been closed due to the fire. The A4018 (Cribbs Causeway Road) is closed to all traffic in both directions between Clifton Rugby Club and Lysander Road. All bus services are being diverted.
