Passengers of Malawian Airlines stranded as cabin crew strike - report

The passengers of the Malawian Airlines are stranded at Kamuzu International Airport, Lilongwe after cabin crew decided to go on strike, according to Nation Online. The sit-in by the cabin crew who are demanding a salary raise has also affected the morning flight to Blantyre from Lilongwe.

The media organization also reported that Malawian Airlines Spokesperson Joseph Josiah has confirmed about the incident.

Malawian Airlines Spokesperson Joseph Josiah has confimed. "Yes it's true, cabin crew refused to operate this morning citing a number of grievances which apparently they had earlier raised with management & they feel they are not being attended to."
