Miracle in the Depths: Polish Miner Found Alive After Three Days
A Polish coal miner was rescued alive after being trapped underground for three days following a tremor at the Rydultowy mine. One miner died, 76 others were rescued, and 17 were hospitalized. The miner found alive is now being transported to the hospital, and most hospitalized miners have been discharged.

A Polish coal miner trapped underground since Thursday was found alive by rescuers on Saturday, according to local media reports. The Rydultowy mine in southern Poland, operated by state-controlled group PGG, experienced a tremor at around 0600 GMT on Thursday, approximately 1,200 metres (3,960 feet) below ground.
Tragically, one miner lost their life due to the tremor, while 76 others were brought to the surface alive by rescuers on Thursday. Of those rescued, 17 miners were taken to the hospital. State-run news channel TVP Info reported that the miner found on Saturday was conscious when rescuers reached him. Additionally, private broadcaster RMF FM indicated that a helicopter was dispatched to the mine to transport him to the hospital.
Fortunately, most of the miners who were hospitalized have now been discharged, according to TVP Info.
