In a recent report by the Central Statistics Office, Irish residential property prices experienced a 9.7% increase over the past year to October. This slight decrease from the previous 9.9% rise highlights a second consecutive month of slowing growth.

The annual price growth, which reached a high of 10.1% in August, signals a potential cooling in the heated property market. Notably, national property prices are now 15.2% higher than during the peak of the Celtic Tiger property boom in 2007.

This trend reflects a sluggish yet steady increase, offering both opportunities and challenges for the housing market stakeholders amid broader economic implications.
