Heroic Nurses from Kerala Save Passenger Mid-Flight

Two nurses from Kerala, on their first international flight to Abu Dhabi, saved a fellow passenger's life who was suffering a cardiac arrest. Abhijith Jees and Ajeesh Nelson performed CPR and, with assistance from Dr. Arif Abdul Khadir, stabilized the passenger, who was later reported stable.

In a remarkable display of skill and quick-thinking, two nurses from Kerala, India, saved the life of a fellow passenger during their flight to Abu Dhabi. The incident occurred just twenty minutes into the Air Arabia journey when a man began experiencing a cardiac arrest.

Abhijith Jees, 26, and Ajeesh Nelson, 29, immediately sprang into action, performing two rounds of CPR until the passenger regained a pulse. "I checked his pulse, but there was none. I knew he was in cardiac arrest," said Abhijith, underscoring the seriousness of the situation.

Their efforts, along with assistance from Dr. Arif Abdul Khadir, proved successful as they stabilized the man's condition. Once landed, the patient received further medical attention and was declared stable. The gratitude from the passenger's family further highlighted the nurses' life-saving actions.
