Tragedy Strikes: Three Hotel Workers Die of Food Poisoning in Madhya Pradesh

A tragic incident unfolded in Madhya Pradesh's Chhatarpur district, where three employees of a local hotel died due to food poisoning, while five others remain critically ill. The employees fell sick after dining at the establishment in Khajuraho town on Monday evening.

The affected individuals were initially hospitalized at the district hospital and later transferred to Gwalior for advanced treatment. Officials emphasized the seriousness of their condition as testing of food samples commenced. The incident aligns with the state's cabinet meeting being held in the ancient temple town.

The district administration has confirmed the unfortunate deaths of Pragilal Kushwaha, Girija Rajak, and Ramswaroop Kushwaha. In response, they announced immediate financial assistance of Rs 20,000 to the families of the deceased, as investigations into the cause continue.
