Her organs were donated after her brain death was confirmed, resulting in a touching state funeral with attendance from ministers and other dignitaries.
Aalin, daughter of Arun Abraham and Sherin Ann John, was critically injured in a road accident on February 5 and declared brain dead a week later. Her courageous parents allowed her organs to be donated via the Kerala State Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation, benefiting five individuals in need of life-saving transplants.
The ceremony included a poignant eulogy from Union Minister Suresh Gopi, who emphasized her lasting impact and the spread of similar inspiring stories of organ donation across India. Her funeral concluded with state honors, spotlighting the significance of organ donation as a noble act of altruism.
