The Microbiology Department at Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute (BMCRI) has achieved NABL accreditation for a four-year period, authorities announced on Wednesday.
Having provided quality medical testing services for the past decade, the department has significantly grown its testing capabilities—from just three tests in 2016 to an impressive 66 tests projected by 2026, according to a statement from the office of Medical Education Minister Sharan Prakash Patil.
Senior officials in the medical education department confirmed that the newfound National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) recognition will remain valid until 2030, underscoring the institution's commitment to excellence.
