Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel underscored the pivotal role of medical science in humanitarian service during the opening of a new oncology block at the Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama Charitable Hospital in Vrindavan. The facility was inaugurated earlier by President Droupadi Murmu.
Addressing the gathering, Governor Patel highlighted that Vrindavan has long symbolized service and compassion, embodying Swami Vivekananda's principle that 'service to man is service to God.' She praised the hospital's growth from a modest service center to a 400-bed multi-specialty facility, a testament to its dedication to public welfare.
Patel affirmed that the new oncology block will significantly aid numerous patients. She praised the contributions of all stakeholders, emphasizing the significance of healthcare in the state's development. She applauded government initiatives aimed at enhancing medical education and infrastructure, envisioning hospitals as centers of empathetic care where disease and fear find solace.
