A groundbreaking study from Pune introduces new hope for advanced pancreatic cancer patients using Ayurvedic Rasayana Therapy (ART). Conducted by Dr. Yogesh Bendale and team at Rasayu Cancer Clinic, the research was presented at the American Association for Cancer Research annual meet in San Diego, spotlighting its significant findings.
The study focused on 17 patients with advanced-stage pancreatic cancer, highlighting Ayurvedic therapy's promise where traditional treatments are often ineffective. Patients experienced a median survival increase to 10 or 11 months and witnesses improved quality of life, including better appetite and reduced fatigue.
This study underscores the potential of integrative oncology, where Ayurveda works alongside conventional medicine. Global interest is rising, yet calls for collaboration between modern and Ayurvedic practices remain strong in India, as emphasized by researchers like Dr. Bendale and his team.
