Kenyan President William Ruto emphasized the necessity of allowing the United States to set up an Ebola quarantine facility in Kenya, calling it 'the right thing.' His remarks came during a press conference on Thursday while visiting South Africa.

Ruto articulated that rejecting the American proposition to establish the facility, which will be funded by the U.S., would present Kenya as an uncaring nation.

'It would be most unfortunate if on one request by the Americans to set up a facility at their cost, we would refuse,' added Ruto, stressing the significance of global collaboration in tackling health crises.
