Naa Korkor Aadizeoyi I, the queen mother of Adabraka has given advise to the Ghanaian females of the Boundary Road Cluster of schools in Adabraka in Ghana's capital, Accra to abstain from sexual activities in order to prevent teenage pregnancy.

According to Naa Korkor Aadizeoyi I, if the young girls do not abstain from sexual activities, they may not only get pregnant, but also increase the chance of getting infected with sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) that can spoil their life and future ambitions.

"I want you to know that, each and every one of you girls have great potentials. You can achieve your dreams when you take your education seriously. However, if you engage in sexual activities, you would get pregnant and that would prevent you from achieving your dreams," she said, as reported by Graphic Online.

On the other hand, she also approached the girls to practice good personal hygiene, more especially during the time of menstruation by changing their pad frequently, bath at least twice a day and wear clean clothes. The girls were also being taught how to use the pad appropriately. Even the girls had the chance to share their experiences and worries with the nurses.

The queen mother, Naa Korkor Aadizeoyi I after an interaction with the girls, encouraged the final year students to study hard so they could excel in their Basic Education Certificate Examination.
