Nepal reported 180 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours, taking the country's tally to 15,964 on Monday, the health ministry said. The death toll due to the disease reached 35 after a 29-year-old man from Baglung district died on Monday, it said.

Jageshwor Gautam, the spokesperson of the health ministry, said that 264 COVID-19 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours. "With this, the number of COVID-19 patients to be discharged after recovery has reached 6,811," Gautam said.
