Indonesian President Joko Widodo Commences Two-Day State Visit to UAE
Indonesian President Joko Widodo arrived in the UAE for a two-day state visit. UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan led the welcoming ceremony at Abu Dhabi's Presidential Airport, alongside other key UAE officials who extended a warm reception to the visiting dignitary.

In a show of diplomatic cordiality, President Joko Widodo of the Republic of Indonesia commenced a two-day state visit to the United Arab Emirates, arriving today in Abu Dhabi.
President Widodo was received with great ceremony at the Presidential Airport by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, along with a contingent of high-ranking officials. Attendees included Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Presidential Court; Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, and Abdulla Salem Al Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to Indonesia.
Marking the significance of the occasion, a formation of UAE Airforce jets escorted Widodo's aircraft as it entered UAE airspace, granting permission from the squadron leader to continue their ceremonial accompaniment to the airport.
