Israel's Ministry of Economy and Industry, in collaboration with the Ministry of Construction and Housing, has announced a new support track worth approximately 12 million Shekels (USD 3.3 million) to advance the construction industry. The initiative focuses strongly on modular construction to boost labor productivity and reduce reliance on on-site work.
The program aims to foster a knowledge-rich construction sector that can tackle high construction costs, improve industry productivity, shorten project timelines, and reduce environmental impact. This new pathway will finance the creation of new industrial plants and the expansion of existing facilities to incorporate advanced construction methods.
The Investment Authority's broader objective is economic growth facilitated by smart distribution of incentives to enhance labor productivity and integrate cutting-edge technologies. This initiative complements other existing tracks such as grants, advanced production, and circular economy tracks to promote innovation and efficiency in construction.
