Sharjah Digital Department Revamps SEWA Bill Payment Service

Sharjah Digital Department (SDD) has revamped its SEWA bill payment service on the Digital Sharjah platform. The update includes an advanced interface, allowing users to view current and historical bills, file complaints, and use multiple payment options. The initiative aims to enhance user experience and efficiency.

Sharjah [UAE], July 28 (ANI/WAM): The Sharjah Digital Department (SDD) has rolled out an updated version of the Sharjah Electricity, Water, and Gas Authority (SEWA) bill payment service on its 'Digital Sharjah' platform. This enhancement signifies the department's dedication to continuously fine-tuning and evolving its digital services.

The updated service showcases an advanced user interface, aimed at elevating the consumer experience. Users can now seamlessly view their account balances, whether linked to their Emirates ID or manually added, alongside access to both current and up to 10 past bills in PDF format. Additional features include the ability to lodge complaints or objections regarding bills.

Sheikh Saud bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the Director General of SDD, underscored the department's commitment to delivering comprehensive services that meet user needs with top-tier efficiency. He highlighted the informed development process, incorporating user feedback and suggestions, while regularly disseminating instructional videos in Arabic and English via social media to guide users through the platform's functionalities.

SDD offers over 60 services from 19 governmental and private entities, spanning essential sectors in the emirate. Users can utilize a range of payment methods, including Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, debit and credit cards, and the Tahseel Digital Payment System. Additionally, the platform's mobile application is available for both iOS and Android devices, enabling secure and convenient transactions.
