Sharjah Ruler Dissolves Urban Planning Council, Effective August 2024

Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah, has issued a decree to dissolve the Sharjah Urban Planning Council by August 2024, transferring its rights and obligations to the Sharjah Department of Town Planning and Survey and reallocating employees accordingly.

Sharjah [UAE], July 30 (ANI/WAM): Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has decreed the dissolution of the Sharjah Urban Planning Council, effective from August 1, 2024.

The decree calls for the transfer of all rights, assets, properties, and obligations from the Sharjah Urban Planning Council to the Sharjah Department of Town Planning and Survey.

Employees of the Council will be relocated within Sharjah's government departments, based on requirements, under the supervision of the Sharjah Department of Human Resources in collaboration with the Sharjah Department of Town Planning and Survey and other relevant authorities.
