Puneet Roy Kundal Appointed New Ambassador of India to Portugal
Puneet Roy Kundal, Additional Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs, has been named the new Ambassador of India to Portugal. An IFS officer of the 1996 batch, Kundal previously served as Ambassador to Tunisia and holds degrees from BITS Pilani and Jawaharlal Nehru University.

Puneet Roy Kundal, who is currently serving as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to Portugal, according to a statement released by the Ministry on Wednesday.
An Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer from the 1996 batch, Kundal is expected to take up his new responsibilities shortly.
Kundal boasts a distinguished career, having previously served as India's Ambassador to Tunisia. He is also an alumnus of the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, and Jawaharlal Nehru University.
