Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, currently in the United States, made a compelling case for diaspora investments in Hyderabad during the Dallas IT Serve Alliance gathering. The event also saw the presence of Telangana's Information Technology Minister, Sridhar Babu.
Addressing the prominent assembly of IT Serve Alliance, the largest association of IT Services organizations in the US, CM Revanth Reddy and IT Minister Sridhar Babu urged members to consider investment opportunities in Hyderabad and Telangana. "Hyderabad made you the best in the world, now you help us to make Hyderabad the world's best," Reddy told the Indian Tech Diaspora.
The alliance, often recognized as the collective voice of major US-based IT firms, extended an invitation to the Chief Minister for their flagship event in Las Vegas later this year. This platform has historically hosted global leaders, including former US Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, and luminaries like Hillary Clinton and Steve Forbes. CM Revanth announced plans to develop a 'Future City', an extension of existing Hyderabad tech hubs, and encouraged investments.
Minister Sridhar Babu outlined the vision for the Future City, an extension of the Metro, and the rejuvenation of the River Musi project, aimed at propelling Hyderabad into the next decade. He emphasized initiatives for future tech sectors like AI, promising eco-friendly designs with Net Zero impact.
Sridhar Babu also detailed a balanced growth strategy focusing on service sector development in Tier-II towns and boosting economic growth through manufacturing. "Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has laid out a vision to transform Telangana into a US $1 trillion economy within a decade. Let's work together to achieve this," he added.
