A young man went missing from Turbat city in Pakistan's Balochistan on Monday, as reported by The Balochistan Post. The individual, identified as Dad Shah Baloch, son of Master Saleem Baloch, was allegedly detained by Pakistani forces in Balochistan's Shahi Tump area.

In a similar incident, two persons named Nasrat and Dad Dost also went missing after being detained by Pakistani forces in Konshkalat area of Tump on August 30, reported The Balochistan Post. Their unknown whereabouts have raised serious concerns among locals and human rights organizations. Families of the missing individuals are anxious for their safety amid ongoing enforced disappearances in the region.

Human rights groups and local advocacy organizations, such as the Balochistan National Party (BNP) and Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP), have been proactive in demanding greater transparency and accountability from Pakistani security forces. With over 55,000 individuals reportedly missing from the region, these groups are advocating for investigations and the safe recovery of the missing persons. International bodies, including various UN entities, have also called for thorough investigations into these disappearances. Political and social activists hold Pakistani security forces and intelligence agencies accountable for these enforced disappearances, which continue to erode public trust and foster an atmosphere of fear in Balochistan.
