The death toll from Israel's airstrikes in Lebanon has risen to 182, with more than 700 people injured, according to reports from CNN and the Lebanese Ministry of Health. The casualties include women, children, and medics.

Earlier today, the Israeli army announced it struck approximately 300 targets across Lebanon. Israel Defence Forces (IDF) have launched extensive airstrikes against Hezbollah positions and warned civilians to avoid areas used by the Iran-backed militant group for storing weapons. The IDF identified Hezbollah operatives preparing attacks on Israel.

Israel's Defence Minister Yoav Gallant addressed the public, urging them to remain composed and follow instructions from the Home Front Command. IDF's Arabic spokesperson Avichay Adraee reiterated warnings for civilians to distance themselves from Hezbollah sites, stating, 'Hezbollah is lying to you and sacrificing you.'

Residents in southern Lebanon and the Beqaa Valley received warning messages via text and phone calls. Lebanese media also reported these warnings on radio stations. In response to mounting security concerns, Lebanon’s government has suspended classes in public and private schools in the affected regions for two days.

The decision, effective from Monday, aims to protect students amid the escalating conflict, the Lebanese education ministry announced. Schools in South Lebanon, Nabatieh, Bekaa, Baalbek-Hermel, and southern suburbs remain closed as tensions heighten.
