Swedish Social Democrats pave way for political stability

Sweden's Social Democrats said on Friday they had agreed on a draft for a policy platform with Centre, Liberal and Green parties that could end months of political deadlock. "The parties that have entered this agreement are agreed on budget cooperation," the draft of the agreement published the Social Democrat party's website said. A deal could still be blocked by each party's executive group, who have the final say - some Liberal and Centre lawmakers have expressed strong doubts about such a partnership.
