Russia-Japan foreign minister met to resolve differences

There are differences between Moscow and Tokyo and that is why the two countries are meeting, Takeshi Osuga, spokesman for Japan's Foreign Ministry, told reporters in Moscow on Monday.

Russian and Japanese foreign ministers met in Moscow on Monday. According to the Russian side, it told Japan that Moscow's sovereignty over several disputed islands was not up for discussion.
