In a dramatic gesture at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), tech mogul and Tesla CEO Elon Musk waved a chainsaw to highlight his push for reducing federal bureaucracy, coinciding with former President Donald Trump's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) initiative, as covered by The Hill.

Musk, sporting a black 'Make America Great Again' cap and sunglasses, was joined by Argentine President Javier Milei, known for his chainsaw-driven campaigns to slash governmental excess. Musk quipped that substituting 'democracy' with 'bureaucracy' in media could offer clarity.

Simultaneously, Steve Bannon, ex-White House Chief Strategist, hailed the Senate's affirmation of Kash Patel as FBI director. Patel vowed to revamp the FBI, stressing transparency and justice, despite a close 51-49 vote, largely opposed by Senate Democrats as reported by NBC News.
